The mission of the Charleston Regional Training Center is to promote amateur wrestling at all levels in the Lowcountry of South Carolina.
Each donation is tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization EIN #84-4946849 . Your support of the Charleston RTC will assist us in providing support to our numerous athletes and wrestling in the region. This is vital to the CRTC and to The Citadel wrestling!
Our Programs
U20/U23 World Team Trials in Geneva, OH
The Charleston RTC supports The Citadel wrestlers travel and compete in the U20 and U23 World Team Trials in Geneva, Ohio at the beginning of June. Our athletes compete under the Charleston RTC and pursue spots on the U.S. U23 World Team which competes at the World Championships around the world.
U.S. Open in Las Vegas, NV
The Charleston RTC also supports travel and competition at the U.S. Open in various divisions in April. This event is a qualifier for the U20, U23, and Senior World Team Trials.
High School Club
The Charleston RTC supports the Charleston Wrestling Club under it’s umbrella as a place for high school athletes to train from March to October.
Senior World Team Trials
The Charleston RTC was able to send it’s first athlete to the Senior World Team Trials in 2025 thanks in large part to contributors like you!
Bulldog Youth Club
The Charleston RTC also supports the Bulldog Youth Club from December to February as a program for our youngest wrestlers to develop their skills and find a love for the sport.
